YJ was founded on the simple idea that fiber art brings peace and balance to the chaotic, and sometimes impossibly difficult human condition.

Hi! I’m Amber, I’m originally from Dallas, but I’ve lived all across Texas. YJ is a two-fold passion project, first and foremost I want to share the mental health benefits of fiber arts with everyone; as well as providing exquisite products that excite the soul from sight and touch.
All of my inspiration comes from daily observations of beauty and magic all around us. In a way, my designs are the embodiment of my own efforts to be mindful.
